We will be happy to accept your phone call or online request for an appointment. Before getting started in our program we will do a 15 minute FREE Discovery Call to make sure Dr. Thorn is the right fit for you.
The Discovery Call is a way for you and Dr. Thorn to become acquainted. It will allow her to determine if you would benefit from the medical programs offered at Functional Medicine Center of Montana, or do better with care obtained elsewhere. During the Discovery Call she will identify your exact concerns which will enable her to determine how the clinic can help you heal. She will likely have initial recommendations on potential treatment methods.
All new patients are scheduled for an initial visit with Dr. Thorn. Before coming to this appointment, new patient forms found in the patient portal will need to be filled out at least 48 hours prior to your first appointment so there is time for review. The Wellness Program you sign up for is designed to address your health goals. It includes between 3-11 visits depending on which Wellness Program is signed up for. Each visit is up to 60 minutes in length except for the initial visit which can vary in length from 60-90 minutes. Your Wellness Program will also include 1-4 visits with a health coach and/or nutrition expert. You may also be directed to other specialists in the area depending on your needs.
Please note that office hours are by appointment only. We understand there are times when waiting for an appointment does not seem appropriate. We will do our best to accomodate you and make time in our schedule for you as soon as we can.
Please call before coming in and set an appointment time you can be punctual for. When requesting an appointment for an urgent matter, you should CALL the office. DO NOT EMAIL us as we cannot guarantee you a timely response. We will always do our best to accommodate you.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3A Breast Cancer over 5 years ago. I traveled down the conventional path of medicine to help “get rid” of the bad cells.
April of 2017 the same cancer decided to show up in my skeletal system. I had a golf ball size tumor taken from my left hip joint. It was then, I decided to walk the line of Western and Eastern Medicine.
Now, my cancer is “stable”. Dr. Thorn and I crossed paths last winter. She introduced me to OGX Spore Powder and assisted me trying to dig a little deeper in strengthening my digestive and immune system to counteract the cancer meds I’m on as well as help fight the war against those “bad” cells in my body.
